Morrison Lab at UCSF Radiology

We are dedicated to advancing neuromodulation1 therapies for patients with neuropsychiatric conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and obsessive-compulsive disorder. We extract quantitative information from brain MRI2 images to study and predict patients’ neural and clinical responses to brain stimulation. Ultimately, our goal is to develop MRI-based decision-support tools for clinicians who administer neuromodulation therapies.

1 Neuromodulation – method of delivering electrical current to targeted brain areas to restore function
2 MRI – a noninvasive technique that uses a magnet and radio waves to take pictures of internal organs without radiation
